Taber Roach Graduate Intern offers counseling in Texas under the supervision of Teale Janysek, LPC, CTRS. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Seminary of the Southwest and is working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.

Taber Roach Graduate Intern earned her undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Educational Psychology and a certificate in Children and Society from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. Her background includes experience in social work, Christian ministry, case management, psychometrics, and diagnostic assessment across both undergraduate and graduate training.

Clinical Approach

Taber Roach Graduate Intern approaches counseling through psychodynamic and narrative theories, focusing on understanding the full context of a person’s emotional life, relationships, and formative experiences. She is also influenced by emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral interventions, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed parts work.

Her clinical focus is on helping clients better understand their internal world, recognize emotional patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
